Bluebird Salon: In Full Color is Bluebird Theatre Company’s Pride edition at Young Ethel’s, presented in collaboration with JÁ International Theatre. The evening features a lineup of new scripts, screenplays, and theatrical experiments centering queer voices, queer joy, chosen family, defiance, desire, identity, and whatever else Pride stirs up on the page.
Bluebird Salon is a recurring script-reading showcase in the back room/bar glow of Young Ethel’s, where actors bring fresh pages and works-in-progress to life for a room of artists, writers, friends, drinkers, and curious people.
Part theatre, part creative hang, part informal literary salon, the night unfolds through live readings in an intimate dive-bar setting, followed by space to linger, talk, meet people, and find out what everyone is making next. So, join us, grab a drink, and settle in for a late-June night of new work, good company, and stories told boldly — in full color.
